About L-Dawg

For everyone who doesn't already know, my name is Luke and I currently attend Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. And...I turned 21 last July.

I like to consider myself "not your average guy." I'm all about having fun and making people happy. I have this problem where if others aren't happy then I'm not happy either. I don't know what it's called but...when you're happy, I'm happy, baby.

I don't drink or smoke, either. I guess I'm a minority because of this. That's sad.

Some stuff I do enjoy doing are things like longboarding, playing games (pretty much any kind), tennis and racquetball, and of course, being at my computer. I like to *try* and be funny, and I really like to be around people. I'm usually not a huge fan of being alone -- I feel like most experiences are better when you have someone to share them with. Like the beach. Who wants to go to the beach alone? Yeah that's right, no one. Oh yeah, and of course, I love dancing. Notice the dance videos, duh.

I have an average family with an older (married) brother and parents who are still married after like...forever! So I guess that's pretty cool.

Oh, by the way - what is L-Dawg? Aside from a "thuggy wannabe" nickname, I mean. Well here's the lowdown. Anyone who's ever used CAD (usually for making house plans on the computer) knows that the files save as *.dwg files. Well, when I took CAD in high school, I named my folder Lukedwg. Wow, what do you know? Looks like LukeDawg. Well then in my history class, I used my teacher's computer and saved my stuff to a folder called, you guessed it, "Lukedawg". And then those teachers started calling me LukeDawg! Well I gotta be honest, I think "LukeDawg" sounds a little less slick than "L-Dawg," so, I shortened it! There you have it.
